Chinese restaurant @ Edison, NJ We used to come here for dim sum on weekends but stop coming after covid19 pandemic and ownership change. We were here Saturday around 1pm and didn't have to wait for the table. The place looked pretty same as before, noticed there was a special dinner packages for six people which we would like to try with other family members. We had shrimp roll, steamed bean curd, tripe with ginger, steamed Chinese broccoli and pan fried shrimp and chives. Everything was tastier than the ones at Golden seafood restaurant where the wait is long and have to share table with strangers. We will be back for another dim sum brunch soon!

Extremely happy with my experience here. If you don't have time to make it into Chinatown but want an authentic Chinatown experience, then Wonder Seafood is definitely a place to try. If you are truly adventurous in your tastes, I would recommend giving Beef and Bitter Melon a shot. It's nothing like anything else you have had before as the average Americanized Chinese takeout place is not going to have Bitter Melon on the menu. It is definitely an acquired taste, but once acquired you want to have it again and again. It's truly one of my favorite dishes. My girlfriend, who isn't quite as adventurous as I am, ordered a standard wonton soup a standard roast pork and noodle dish. Again, both were excellent - much better than one would get at a local takeout. So yes, I'd recommend this place and yes I definitely intend to be back!

The dim sum is still excellent and the service is still uneven. They even have "soupy" dumplings on the menu but not much soup and eat them quickly before the soup evaporates. I'd pass on those dumplings next time but could eat the Sui Mai and Beef Balls daily.

Simple dim sum restaurant in Edison. They were open on July 4th and there was no wait. Like most dim sum places, the food came out in carts. We just ordered the standard dim sum dishes but they do have a menu for non-dim sun items. They have very fresh seafood (still swimming in the tank)! Food was good but nothing mind blowing. The chicken feet was a little too sweet. Fast service. Typical dim sum restaurant vibe with the banquet tables and a stage for weddings or big parties.

My partner suggested this location for dinner and I gave him props once we entered. The decor reminded me of the restaurants in Chinatown Chicago- around the 1990s. It was a great throwback and it felt comfortable and welcoming. We ordered a spicy pork dish and spicy shrimp dish. For soup, we had beef and Chinese parsley. The small order has four servings. At the beginning of the meal, you get a snack of garlic fried peanuts. Looking forward to having more dinners here!
